We are a group with a love of the Thames and of London’s past and present, as seen from the river. However, in 2022 we will take a break and explore a tributary of the Thames – the River Lee (or Lea) – in easy stages (two to five miles). The walks are at a steady pace with stops for points of interest. We plan to return to the Thames as soon as the disruption caused by the construction of the Tideway sewer diminishes. Walks are monthly, on the third Thursday of the month. Judy Griggs will lead.
